2009 - The Christian Education Committee invites you to join us each week for Sunday school. We begin at 9:45 a.m. with a 15-minute assembly under the leadership of Sunday school superintendent Haynes Standard. Class time follows at 10:00. Currently adults have four classes available to them. Elementary and middle school children attend one class together, while toddlers and babies go to the nursery.

Also available is a class for adults with special needs, provided by an educational specialist. For further information please call our church office.

We also invite you to join us on Wednesday evening for Food and Fellowship. Please come as early as 5:30 for coffee or tea and visiting. Dinner will be served at 6:00 and the program will be from 6:30 to 7:00.

On the first Wednesday of each month the dinner is covered dish and the program is a devotional led by Pastor John Pike or Haynes Standard.

The Second Wednesday evening program features a short video from a series on Descipleship called "Nooma" followed by a discussion led by Donna Kicklighter. 

The third Wednesday is a study of Jewish Festivals and Holy Days. Most of us have seen a demonstration of Passover but have you ever celebrated Sukkot? Or Purim? We are looking at the stories and traditions surrounding the Feasts Jesus and his disciples observed.  Susie Pressley leads the study.

On the forth Wednesday we welcome guest speakers addressing various topics and when there is a fifth  Wednesday we share a time of prayer and fellowship.

Please join us as often as possible. The cost of the meal is $4.00.
